I like eating raw potato, and I WILL NOT EVER mix milk from two different bottles or cartons. Apart from these things, I am completely normal...ish.
So...I grew up in Somerset, England, moved to Ireland when I was 16, moved to Sweden when I was 19 and then moved back to England, more specifically to London, when I was 25. All this moving around has, as you might imagine, made me ever-so-slightly culturally confused. I have an english sense-of-humor, a swedish attitude when it comes to efficiency and design, and a touch of the irish in me when it comes to, well, guinness.
I only recently took up the bass. Pawel and Sam were hunting for someone to take over from Dave, and I was hanging around getting in the way, so they shoved the bass into my arms and said "Play, bitch. Play or DIE!!!". Well...it was something like that, anyway.
What do I do when I am not playing bass on pain of death? Well...apart from work (which we will not go into in any great detail), I enjoy playing tennis with Pawel, drawing, painting, card-making (don't say I'm sad, or I'll cry), playing piano, reading (omg Robin Hobb is teh shit), watching silly sci-fi series and a lot of other things which I can't quite think of at the moment. If you really want to see some of my arty stuff, you can have a gander at my personal webpage. It ain't been updated for a while, but it's all you're getting! (note: personal webpage has been discontinued due to the fact that we moved servers and I haven't bothered to put it up again yet)
I also really enjoy playing computer games, especially if they have the words "Mario " or "Zelda" in the title. I do not enjoy playing 1st person shooters, because I always end up being the 1st person shot.
The following is an excerpt from a poem I wrote when I was about 7 or 8 when I thought that all poems had to rhyme:
The park is big with lots of green,
The stones have flowers in between.
The bandstand has white flower bowls,
The plants grow out of little holes.
Ghastly, I know.
